BOSS Annual Event 2021: Guiding the Next Generation Abroad

A Gathering of Leadership, Mentorship, and Student Achievement

This edition of the BOSS (Bhanushali Overseas Support System) annual event opened with the Odhavram Bapa Stuti, followed by a warm welcome to trustees and attendees and an introduction to the Overseas Education Fund (OEF). The program featured addresses from community leadership, recognition of longstanding trustees, and a rich lineup of speakers and student voices sharing insights on overseas education.

Program Highlights:

• Leadership Addresses: Opening remarks by President Naresh Bhai, followed by Trustee Vallabh Bhai, who also honored Former Trustee Dinesh Chandra and Ajeevan Pratap Bhai Joisher for their service.
• BOSS Overview: A presentation and APC video introducing BOSS's mission and work (15 minutes).
• Keynote Address: Dr. Ela Dedhia delivered the keynote session, followed by audience Q&A.
• Felicitation: A video honoring the BOSS Student Batch of 2021.
• Expert Sessions: Five speakers — CA Yogesh Bhanushali, Priya Kataria, Bhavesh Bhanushali, Yatin Mange, and Swati Mange — each presented for 20 minutes with a 5-minute Q&A.
• Student Experience: Janvi Bhadra shared her personal journey (part-time studies).
• Community Testimonials: Two video testimonials highlighting the impact of BOSS.
• Senior Perspectives: Reflections from Keshav Ji Bhai Gori and Dr. Govindbhai Bhanushali.
• Open Forum & Conclusion: A closing Q&A session followed by concluding remarks.
  

The event once again reinforced BOSS's role as a bridge between generations — connecting experienced leaders, subject-matter experts, and students to guide the community's youth toward global education opportunities.

BOSS 2021 Webinar was organized on 17 July 2021 from 7 pm-11:30 pm. More than 370+ people registered for the event. Total 300+ students actually attended the webinar. Total YouTube views crossed 1700+ as of 18 July 2021. Around 25+ students going abroad in year 2021.
